What we do
A CPD-based primary science teaching support service
ABC Science CIO offers 200+ hands-on experiments and demonstrations in kits, delivered termly, plus 50+ digital VR and AR lessons available anytime to schools and educators in the Midlands.
Training in your school
Hands-on CPD three times a year with cover funded so every teacher can attend.

The challenge
“Science is a challenging subject to teach — especially if you haven’t got a degree in it.”
- The curriculum isn't designed to generate or inspire scientists.
- 97% of primary teachers are non-subject-specialist teachers.
- 90%+ of primary teachers had a poor experience of science at secondary school.
- Two weeks maximum of university time on science during a PGCE.
- Little access to exciting science kit.
- Sporadic or poor science teaching and learning support.
- Assessment of the scientific method is woolly.
