A virtual laboratory and 50+ immersive lessons your class can visit any time.

Charity philosophy

Every teacher should love teaching science. Every child should get the best of it.

  • Outstanding schemes of work built on the scientific method
  • Super fun, engaging experiments every single week
  • Opportunity for children to run their own investigations
  • Real, live demonstrations — not endless video clips
  • Pupils and teachers leaving every lesson feeling they have just done something wonderful

The challenge

“Science is a challenging subject to teach — especially if you haven’t got a degree in it.”

  • The curriculum isn't designed to generate or inspire scientists.
  • 97% of primary teachers are non-subject-specialist teachers.
  • 90%+ of primary teachers had a poor experience of science at secondary school.
  • Two weeks maximum of university time on science during a PGCE.
  • Little access to exciting science kit.
  • Sporadic or poor science teaching and learning support.
  • Assessment of the scientific method is woolly.

The outcome: very few exciting science lessons across six years of primary school — and thousands of potential young scientists never inspired.
